Recently, when I upgraded to a Palm IIIxe and could store a lot more applications, I decided to delve deeper into the Palm-Internet area. At first I looked at wireless, which is far to expensive. But, I have a beef - the CD I received contains MultiMail Pro 2.26, which works fine BUT the current version of MultiMail Pro is 3.1 with many more features. Palm says I have to pay for a full version if I want MultiMail Pro 3.1, at $40! Since I just paid my $100, I felt a little miffed at this shortcoming, especially since Palm now owns Actual Software. It's actually somewhat awesome to hear it chirp when making a connection. The software, MultiMail is OK but does not support file attachments to email. A better free Internet software suite is Eudora for the Palm. Eudora also supports Web browsing. You can hotsync your Eudora email for the Palm with the Eudora email for the PC.
