While in Office Depot today, I spotted the WOWPad and for $9.99 (same price as offered on Amazon) I decided to try it out. So far, I couldn't be more impressed! It stays where you put it, is super thin, and the mouse "glides" on the surface. I'm using the WOWPad with a Gyration optical mouse. I will test the new mouse pad when it arrives, but I don't know how to improve on what I'm currently using. ...more

The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me to use, is that it is very slick. This causes me to often move the mouse by accident while trying to double click something. Not a big deal though, you get use to it. You just have to be more delicate with your hand. ...more

I like this pad's tracking and texture, and there is a HUGE improvement between this pad and others in terms of mouse movement and sensitivity. However, it *does* slip around on my desk (natural wood, no lacquer) a bit. I've figured it out--the pad is so thin and light that on its own, the pad's weight isn't enough to press its sticky undercoating into the tabletop. The mouse glides incredibly easily over the top; it feels like the top is coated with Teflon. However, after a few months the bottom side lost its tackiness and started sliding when I moved the mouse. When it comes to interacting with computers there are few things more annoying than a mousepad that won't stay put. I tried cleaning it but it didn't help.
